For this example, we’ll look at the March 2026 “In Like a Lion” badge. To earn this the badge, you need to accumulate 100,000,000 points over any combinations of titles or game sessions during the month. This badge seems cool and doable! One problem: I have no idea where I am in the completion of this badge. A simple fix, like switching from “Available” to “In Progress” once you start the point accumulation and then including a progress bar that increases as you earn points (also labeled with your point value/100,000,000) would provide users with a way to know how they were progressing towards the badge and would use two methods of presenting information. We always like more the one way to help with accessibility!
Also, we see this in Achievements for games. Here, on Jaws, are the Skill Shot progress bars, which include both the shaded bar and the percentage. So we know Stern is capable of that, now let’s bring it to these seasonal badges!
